Good Morning Ohio!
On the road at 6:30 am.
Here is a graveyard we whizzed by. I always like to walk through the older ones.
The gravestones always have so much information about the deceased.
Might seem a little morbid, but I find them very interesting.
So today we are going to go through Cincinnati and I hope to be able to see my brother Mark.
I haven't seen him in 8 years. He lives here in Ohio.
Some pretty cool old bridges.
A pretty long building.
Another one of the cool city names. Pataskala
Morning Traffic
Look close, it is an indoor water park. The slides are on the outside of the building.
This is Columbus Ohio off in the distance.
Look at these barricades. They have scenes imprinted into the concrete.
I wonder if Tidewater, VA would do it too. Probably not!
This is the way to Cincinnati
Passing through Grove City, OH
More Farm Land
Whoa, this is an eye-opener. There will be a lot of people in for a surprise come judgment day.
This was painted for the State of Ohio's birthday celebration.
And yet, and another water tower.
This place was called "The Beach" It was a huge water park.
I am really craving a visit to the beach with my buddies. I need a day to sit back and relax.
This is Kings Island, a distant cousin of Kings Dominion.
Water Tower... again.
We are stopping at this Wal-Mart hoping to see my brother.
A Wal-Mart with statues. Go figure!
I though these little baby bananas were so cute.
Well unfortunately we didn't get up with Mark. He was having phone issues and didn't get our message until we were ready to head back out on the road. I did get to talk to him over the phone
for an hour and a half. It was nice catching up with him.
We were at the Deerfield Center Wal-Mart in Mason, OH
Lots of old church buildings.
Graffiti Artists everywhere.
We are getting close to Cincinnati.
Starting to see some of the city of Cincinnati.
Wow! Look at the city.
Getting ready to cross over to Kentucky.
Welcome to Kentucky!
We are going to pass through Louisville, KY
Louisville, KY
We could get off and head to Nashville or Indianapolis.
But we won't.
University of Louisville
State Fairgrounds
We have MLK Jr. Highway back home too.
The Airport
Wish we had time to check out the "Awesome Flea Market"
I wonder what their fleas look like.
Aww, look it's Reilly. One of our daily pictures.
Back to Farmland scenes.
Oh look! It's another one. I miss my little grandchildren.
I love you too Liam! Kiss baby Reilly for Mimi.
Okay, here is our stop for the night. "Huck's Truck Stop" in Kuttawa, KY
We were able to get a shower for half the price as the TAs and Love's stops.
We didn't get very good internet reception here. That is one of the reason that the blog
is up so late. We are only 23 miles from our destination.
So we will probably head out around 6:30 am.
Good Night Dear Followers!
Romans 5:10
For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.
