This morning was early!!! Paul was on the road at 3:45 am. We are trying to make our delivery on time since we lost two hours as we crossed two time zones. Needless to say, I tried to go back to sleep. Sometime during the morning I heard the GPS say "you are entering North Carolina." So I slept through the sign on that one.
So...Welcome to North Carolina!
Boo, this traffic is murder on an 18-wheeler truck.
Signs for Clayton are popping up. That is where we will be unloading half of the truck.
One of the warehouse guys helped Paul with the tarp. My weenie arms couldn't handle it.
I am a good bungee collector, though.
My face is red and I am sweaty. I will have hard hat hair too.
Sitting at a light, and what do I see.... Givens from Chesapeake, VA
Home!
Which way do we go?
Jordan Lake coming up.
Makes me think of my niece Jordan Dee and how proud I am
of her service to our country in the Air Force.
Here is Lake Jordan and our Jordan loves the lake!
Not I 64 from home but a little highway here in North Carolina.
We are getting closer to home though.
We are also getting closer to morning rush hour traffic around Raleigh, NC

Buck Jones - Hee Haw!
We made it through most of the traffic with smiles on our faces.
I even got to wash and fix my hair last night.
Unfortunately, it won't last as we will be sweating our hineys off later when
we untarp, unstrap and retarp and restrap the load at US Lumber.
Paul says, do you think they have sausage on that road.
I don't know, what do you think?

Look closely and you will see a cowboy hat and a big boot. Reminds me of Texas
This thing was in front of a grave yard.
We are here!

That's my hardworking man!

Which way do we go?
Bearpond Road.
Now what can I say about that name?
Booo, this sign made me think of Charles Manson.
Oh Yeah!
Welcome to Virginia!
Shout out to our Richmond Family!
We love you guys.
Awww, we stopped to get some lunch at the PETRO and this guy was stuck in the grill of the truck.
Poor Butterfly, he is a goner but awfully pretty.
St. Paul's College
That's right I took the picture because of my Paul.
Paul says, I didn't know we were that close to Canada.
Nah, we are in Virginia silly boy.
(He knew that)
Oh yeah, I am going to the beach at least one day next week with my buddies.
So here is what the hair is looking like after our unloading this morning. I did get to change clothes,
but now it is pulled back and look at all that gray hair. My hairdresser is going to
run when she sees me coming.
Look out Misty, I am headed back to Virginia real soon!
Now, I don't know why the first think that popped in to my head was Chippendale.
You figure that one out, cuz a nice Christian girl shouldn't even know about such things, right?
Whoah! this is a little scary.
Paul said he has actually driven down the
curvy one. And it was a little hairy to say the least.

Okay, let's just fly the rest of the way.
Downtown Richmond up ahead.
I'm telling you, we are getting messages left and right.
I think home is in our future.
We are passing the Redskins Training Camp.
Well, we are stopping earlier than usual tonight. We were up so early this morning.
Our load is to be delivered by 10:00 tomorrow morning in Aberdeen, MD.
So to the TA Truck Stop it is.
Hot Showers and back to the truck. We warmed up some chicken fingers in the microwave and had a couple of cookies. I worked on both yesterday and today's blog. Not as many pictures as last week, but still enough to see that we are heading home soon.
Good Night to my family and friends.
Love you All.
